Will Spring ever come?

I can't believe the pool guys are working in this weather.  It is cold, it is foggy, it's not raining but it's misting, just plain dreary outside.  But that hasn't stopped the work in our backyard.  Yesterday, we watched them blow gunite and now we can finally see the pool taking shape.

It's hard to tell in the picture but on the left/front side of the pool, there is a 6 inch tanning ledge similar to the Braewick pool.  That was where everyone congregated and it's great for kids to sit and play.  Today, they started to bring wheelbarrow loads of stone down the hill to build the wall on the far side of the pool.  This will tie into the original wall near both staircases.   Super happy with the progress they are making.  Wes and I are working on landscaping plans now.   We hope to build a cool sitting area to the left of the pool where the playground equipment sits.  The playground can temporarily be moved to the grass for a year or so, then we will pass it on.  Our kids have almost outgrown it.
